How much does surrogacy cost?

Founded by Intended Parents, we understand first hand how costly surrogacy can be. While we cannot guarantee what you will ultimately spend, we can help narrow that number down considerably so that you can budget accordingly.

  • Cost range: Varies by Clinic

    There are several expenses that help to create a safe and successful pregnancy with your fertility clinic. These may include medically screening your Surrogate, embryo preparation and transfer, medications for your Surrogate, monitoring appointments to confirm the pregnancy is progressing well, and any necessary repeat procedures.

  • Estimated cost range: $95,000–$125,000

    Surrogate compensation includes several thoughtfully structured components. They include base compensation, which is the agreed upon base fee paid for her time, effort and commitment. Other expenses include non accountable monthly allowance, insurance policies, travel and accommodations, childcare, post-delivery wellness and support. These benefits ensure she is fully cared for throughout the entire journey.

  • Estimated costs: $60,000-$80,000

    Surrogacy involves many trusted professionals, from medical teams to legal experts and supportive service providers, and each plays an important role in both your journey and its overall cost. Things such as Agency fees, parentage rights documents, insurance premiums, escrow account management, psychological evaluations, and insurance broker costs.

Total cost: $175,000–$215,000
